Приложение 1.

(The song “Butterfly” sounds Приложение 2. Five children appear. They are dancing and singing the song. Three of them are “the Forest”, the others are butterflies. The butterflies are caring out the decoration of the stream. At the end of the song Eeyore is coming out. Eeyore, the old grey donkey is standing beside the stream and looking at himself in the water.)

Eeyore: Pathetic. That’s what it is. (Pooh comes out).

Winnie-the-Pooh: Good morning, Eeyore

Eeyore (gloomily): Good morning, Pooh Bear. If it is a good morning.

Winnie-the-Pooh: Why, what’s the matter?

Eeyore: Nothing, Pooh Bear, nothing.

Winnie-the-Pooh: You seem so sad, Eeyore.

Eeyore: Sad? Why should I be sad? I’m not sad. It’s my birthday. The happiest day of the year.

Winnie-the-Pooh (In great surprise): Your birthday?

Eeyore: Of course it is. Can’t you see? Look at all the presents I have had. (He waves a foot from side to side.) Look at the birthday cake and candles.

Winnie-the-Pooh: Presents? Birthday cake?

Eeyore: Can’t you see them?

Winnie-the-Pooh: No.

Eeyore: Neither can I. Joke. Ha-ha!

Winnie-the-Pooh: Many happy returns of the day, Eeyore. (He feels quite sorry for Eeyore.)

Eeyore: I am so miserable myself with no presents and no cake and no candles….

Winnie-the-Pooh: Stay there! (And he hurries back as quickly as he can. He meets Piglet.)

Сцена 2. Приложение 3.

Winnie-the-Pooh: Hello, Piglet!

Piglet: Hello, Pooh.

Winnie-the-Pooh: I have just seen Eeyore, and poor Eeyore is very sad, because it’s his birthday, and nobody knows, and he’s very gloomy. (The song “Butterfly” sounds. *>ПРИЛОЖЕНИЕ> №2*. Pooh is running along the stage. The forest is making Pooh’s house. Two butterflies bring Pooh a jar of honey.)

Winnie-the-Pooh (to Piglet): I’ll give this to Eeyore as a present. What are you going to give him, Piglet?

Piglet: Can’t I give it too? From both of us?

Winnie-the-Pooh: No. That’s not a good idea.

Piglet: All right, then, I’ll give him a balloon. I’ll go and get it now.

Winnie-the-Pooh: That’s a very good idea, Piglet. It’s just what Eeyore wants to cheer him up. A balloon will cheer anybody up.

(Piglet trots off; and Pooh goes off in the other direction. Some time later)! Music sounds Приложение 2 (концовка).

Winnie-the-Pooh (to himself): It’s time for a little something. What luck what I brought this jar of honey with me. (He sits down and begins to eat). Oh my God! What shall I do? I must give Eeyore something. Well, it’s a very nice pot, even if there is no honey in it. I shall wash it and clean, and ask somebody to write “A Happy Birthday” on it. Eeyore can keep things in it which may be useful. (Suddenly Pooh meets Owl.) Music sounds!

Winnie-the-Pooh: Good morning, Owl.

Owl: Good morning, Pooh!

Winnie-the-Pooh: Many happy returns of Eeyore’s birthday.

Owl: Oh, I didn’t know!

Winnie-the-Pooh: I’m giving him a useful pot to keep things in, and I want to ask you…

Owl: Is this it? (Takes it out of Pooh’s paw.)

Winnie-the-Pooh: Yes, and I want to ask you…

Owl: Somebody kept honey in it.

Winnie-the-Pooh: You can keep anything in it. It’s very useful.

Owl: You must write “A Happy Birthday” on it.

Winnie-the-Pooh: That was what I wanted to ask you. My spelling is something wrong. It’s good spelling, but sometimes the letters get in the wrong places. Could you very kindly write “A Happy Birthday” on it?

Owl: Oh, it’s a nice pot. Can I give it too? From both of us?

Winnie-the-Pooh: No, that’s not a good idea.

Owl: Can you read, Pooh?

Winnie-the-Pooh: If you tell me what it says, then I can.

(This is what Owl wrote: HIPY PAPY BTHUTHDTH THUTHDA BTHUTHDY.)

Owl: It says, “A very happy birthday with love from Pooh.”

(Piglet is running along with balloon in his hands. Suddenly he falls down on his face. Bang!!!)

Piglet: Well, that’s funny. I wonder what that bang was. And where’s my balloon? And what’s that small piece of damp rag doing? Was it the balloon? Oh, dear, oh, dear! Well, it’s too late now. I can’t go back, and I have not got another balloon. (Winnie, Owl come up to Piglet)

Winnie-the-Pooh: Don’t worry, Piglet. Let’s go to Eeyore. (All characters are standing around Eeyore, who is in the middle.) Приложение 4.

Сцена №3. Приложение 2.

Piglet: Good morning, Eeyore.

Eeyore: Good morning, little Piglet.

Piglet: Many happy returns of the day.

Eeyore: My birthday?

Piglet: Yes, Eeyore, and I’ve brought you a present. It’s a balloon. (And he gives Eeyore the small piece of the damp rag.)

Eeyore: Thank you, Piglet.

(Winnie-the-Pooh comes up to Eeyore)

Winnie-the-Pooh: Many happy returns of the day, Eeyore. I’ve brought you a little present. It’s a useful pot. Here it is and it’s got “A very happy birthday with love from Pooh” on it. There!

Butterfly: (Recites the birthday poem for Eeyore.)

– You have a date to celebrate
Which comes but once a year
And so today we’d like to say
From all of us to you:

– Happy birthday!
Happy birthday!
Happy birthday to you!

(All the characters start to sing the song “Donkey, Donkey” for Eeyore.)
