Сегодня проблема обучения иноязычному произношению является особенно актуальной. Произношение является своеобразной карточкой говорящего. Именно от него во многом зависит взаимопонимание при общении.

Люди годами изучают английский язык, сначала в школе, потом в институте, на курсах, успешно сдают экзамены, но когда дело доходит до живой речи, оказываются беспомощными в плане фонетики.

Английскую фонетику изучают не ради самой фонетики, а потому, что без нее просто невозможно овладеть языком, то есть правильно на нем объясняться.

Ни для кого не секрет, что фонетика не включается в курс обучения иностранным языкам в средней школе. Но учитель может рассчитывать на улучшение произносительных навыков обучаемых, если на каждом уроке уделять хотя бы 2-3 минуты на задания для тренировки звуков. Учащиеся с удовольствием прослушивают и заучивают эти забавные предложения или короткие рифмовки и при последующем аудировании или чтении уже невольно обращают внимание на звучание и правильное произношение отрабатываемых звуков.
